AREAS OF ACITIVITIES OF ENTITIES ENGAGED IN MANAGEMENT OF THE INITIALIZATION OF INTELLECTUAL POTENTIAL OF THE REGION IN THE CONTEXT OF ENSURING THE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

The article attempts to identify entities engaged in the management of the initialization of the intellectual potential of the region in the context of sustainable development. According to the author, they include regional state authorities, local self-government bodies, leading enterprises of the region, and higher education institutions, as well as public administration structures. It is substantiated that in the conditions of development of the information society in Ukraine, and the rapid growth of the population mobility, a new system of managing the initialization of intellectual potential should be formed as one of the main tools of the regional development. The process of the initialization of the intellectual potential of the region depends on priorities of the regional development, which serve as strategic benchmarks for the movement of a particular society, being formed as a result of social transformations.
