Abstract

As we have grown into our various leadership roles, we have either witnessed or experienced great leaders who have led by example, as well as those with positional power who have not. From our earliest memories of people and relationships, from parents to peers to presidents, we have watched and learned from the behavior and oratory of others. We are an amalgamation of all that has come before us. Whether we are now in a position of leadership or strive to be leaders, whether formal or informal-within our organizations, communities, or homes-many are watching. What are they seeing?
