Abstract
Denis Segrestin's Les chantiers du manager attempts to answer the question, 'what are the organizational changes to enterprise imposed by new management practices?' To accomplish this, it discusses the ideas and projects instigated by purpose-driven actors, the mechanisms and contexts in which the action transpires, and the activities and appropriations initiated by actors who recognize and ratify change. This triad of factors is referred to as IDA (idees/dispositifs/actions).This work shows how the notion of the market as a representation of its environment has grown obsolete, and that the study of the sociology of organizations requires the construction of a cognitivist approach, a concept deepened in the work of Michaud and Thoenig. W. A. Butler.
