Abstract
The transmittance of several cryst. materials with thicknesses of about 5 mm. has been measured from 17 to 55 μ. The crystals are NaCl, KCl, KBr, thallium bromide-iodide(KRS-5), CsBr, and CsI. Also the transmittance of a polyethylene film contg. C black has been measured to 100 μ and an example of its use as a transmission filter for the far IR is given. [on SciFinder(R)]
