Abstract

The desulfurization rates in hydrogen of thiophene, tetrahydrothiophene, and n-butanethiol over molybdenum disulfide, an alumina supported cobalt molybdate, and a chromia catalyst have been measured.Measurements of the interconversion rates of the three sulfur compounds were also carried out.
