Abstract

This article show the description, examination and comparison of the islamic astronomy models in Middle Ages with the Ptolemaic models for establish the process of evolution of the cinematic models at the Maraghah Tradition and the motivation for development these non-Ptolemaic models. © Sociedade Brasileira de Física.
