Abstract

Leaning on bibliographical researches and interviews, the author report the decisive role of Myriam David in the consideration of the effects of the maternal deprivation, in institution, from 1950s. Entered the Parent foundation of Rosan, as person in charge of the research at the request of Jenny Aubry, Myriam David revolutionizes the work with the children placed in institution. With Geneviève Appell, Myriam David will continue in this perspective, through a new research within the « crèche » Amyot, by creating the « Placement Familial Spécialisé», then by revealing the original work of the Institute Lóczy, in Budapest. © Médecine & Hygiène.
