In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR), characterized by rapid advancements in Information Technology (IT), the integration of these technologies into higher education has become imperative. This paper explores the transformative impact of IT on teaching methodologies at the university and college levels. Through a comprehensive review of literature, case studies, and qualitative analysis, the study examines how institutions are leveraging IT tools such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and immersive technologies to enhance learning experiences.
