Abstract
The design of a reflecting microscope for FT-IR microspectometry is described. The microscope employes infinity-corrected optics and a novel dual confocal aperturing configuration. The performance of the microscope is discussed relative to stray light rejection and the use of differential interference contrast with IR microspectroscopy.
