ROADS FOR REVITALIZATION OF THE COMPUTER POLICY OF ILHÉUS, BA

Abstract

The present research aims to discuss with important governmental, scientific and technological authors the ways to revitalize an industrial pole related to a sector considered a priority. The methodology was of an empirical nature, of an exploratory nature, with bibliographical data collection. The discussion about the formation of the Local Productive Arrangement of Ilheus, BA, as well as analyzing the main authors of the innovation ecosystem of Ilheus and region, and finally proposes measures adjusted to the expectations of results of the new profile and characteristic of the region and of the parents. We researched the initiatives already carried out aiming at the recovery of the Pole between the years 2017 and 2018. The results of the research show two linear slopes, the first represented in a similar way to "punch in knife point" that levels down fundamental indicators of performance organizational structure. The second strand suggests actions of quantitative advances, figuratively represented by the "Phoenix", which can create conditions to guarantee the competitiveness and sustainability of the Ilheus Information Center and consequently the development of the region.
