Abstract

The article presents research on modeling the recurrence of emergency situations caused by flooding on the Allala river. It is proposed to predict the frequency of floods using the Saint-Venant equation for hydrodynamic modeling. The HEC RAS model was used to compare flood intensity with different water level positions in the river. The parameters of the water source were measured on a section of 8 km long. As a result of research, it was found that the existing coastal protection structures on the banks of the Allala river are insufficient to prevent an emergency flood situation at peak river flows.
