La donación y el transplante de órganos en la prensa escrita. Un estudio en el Occidente de México

Abstract

This paper examines the coverage of written press on organ donation and transplantation published between 2000 and 2009 in four media of Jalisco. The voices of health directors predominate focused on (liver) transplantation, on health and legal issues and with a negative orientation. Meanwhile, discourses of donators, their families and donation coordinators are excluded.
