Abstract

An Efficient Energy Management System plays a vital role in improvement of power consumption and power measurement. Lots of power is consumed due to sockets remaining ON even after loads are in stand by the condition. To fulfil this problem, with the enhancement of the automation sector, artificial intelligence, internet-of-things and promoting digital India, we have developed an Automated Smart socket. Considering the same, this paper proposes to the full extent of automation in a power socket. The proposed research work is intended to reduce the wastage of energy and make the system ease in use. Also with the help of AI, the Wi-Fi users are able to direct the operation of the socket.
