Future-se: The ultimatum in the Brazilian State University

Abstract

The article analyzes the political changes that have redefined and are redefining Brazilian higher education and makes notes for analyzing the correlation of economic forces with the historical moment of Brazil, originating in the late decade of the 20th century and extending to the year 2020. The paper characterizes the composition of the Programa Institutos e Universidades Empreendedoras e Inovadoras (Entrepreneurial and Innovative Institutes and Universities Program) – Future-se, analyzing the contradictory through the intentions and neoliberal elements introduced in the text of the project. It ends by unveiling the Reform of the State in the Brazilian context in the first two decades of the 21st century through the new world economic regime.
