Abstract
32 patients were treated with photocoagulation; 18 patients were treated without delay and 14 patients later on because of deterioration during the control period without treatment or with treatment with anticoagulants or carbogen inhalation. Two patients did not improve because of macular degeneration, while the ultimate VA of the others varied from 0.2 to 1.0 with an average of 0.55.
