Abstract

We give an alternative proof of a theorem of A. Connes that every unitary cocycle (relative to a modular automorphism of a weight Φ0) is a Radon-Nikodym unitary cocycle (DΦ: DΦ0)t for some faithful normal semifinite weight Φ. © 1984, Research Institute forMathematical Sciences.
