Abstract

The study of ideologies' pound in politics and of differences between political parties when they stay in government has been developed since a long time in economical and political sciences. Nevertheless, this disciplines have worked separately and the results given by one have been neglected by the other. In this paper, we propose a politico-economical model-developed initially by Bruno Frey-who is relevant for the study of ideology in politics and we will develop a non economical consequence. Particularly, we will show that more citizen's political opinions are divergent and more government's policies are convergent. The countries studied are especially Germany, Denmark and France. © 2003 Presses de Sciences Po.
