Abstract

This study investigates the impact of remote work on the creative careers of women working in small enterprises in Jordan in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. Drawing on a quantitative research approach, the study examines the relationships between remote work and four dimensions of creative careers: flexibility, organizational culture, productivity, and innovative thinking. A sample of 163 women working in small enterprises in Jordan participated in the study, completing an online survey. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between remote work and overall creative career outcomes, as well as specific dimensions such as flexibility, organizational culture, productivity, and innovative thinking. The study contributes to the literature by providing empirical evidence on the potential benefits of remote work for women's creative careers in the context of small enterprises in a developing country. The findings have practical implications for managers and policymakers seeking to promote gender equality and support the creative potential of women in the workplace.
