NETRALITAS TNI PADA PEMILU 2024 DALAM PERSPEKTIF HUBUNGAN SIPIL MILITER

Abstract

Hubungan sipil dan militer di Indonesia pasca reformasi menghadirkan dinamika yang unik, terutama terkait dengan peran dan netralitas TNI dalam proses politik. Pemilu 2024 menjadi ujian penting bagi TNI dalam menjalankan prinsip netralitas dan memisahkan diri dari politik praktis. Jurnal ini menganalisis netralitas TNI dalam Pemilu 2024 melalui perspektif hubungan sipil-militer, dengan mengkaji landasan hukum, tantangan, serta relevansi reformasi militer yang telah berlangsung sejak 1998. Kesimpulan dari kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun ada komitmen dari TNI untuk netral, tantangan dari hubungan historis dan struktur kekuasaan politik tetap memerlukan perhatian. Civil-military relations in post-reform Indonesia present unique dynamics, especially related to the role and neutrality of the TNI in the political process. The 2024 election is an important test for the TNI in implementing the principle of neutrality and separating itself from practical politics. This journal analyzes the TNI's neutrality in the 2024 election through the perspective of civil-military relations, by examining the legal basis, challenges, and relevance of military reforms that have been ongoing since 1998. The conclusion of this study shows that despite the TNI's commitment to neutrality, challenges from historical relations and political power structures still require attention.
