Abstract

This study aims to investigate how Islamic microfinance can be utilised in Pakistan to alleviate poverty and encourage long-term development. Additionally, it examines the fundamental ideas of Islamic finance and the connection between sustainable development and real economies. The survey was conducted in Sindh; Province of Pakistan. It was observed that despite number of non-Muslim are living in Sindh; Islamic Microfinance does not hindered by any religion. The study also discovered that Islamic Microfinance combined with an appropriate framework for monetary and fiscal policy, have a favourable impact on Pakistan's efforts to reduce poverty.   Received: 10 November 2023 / Accepted: 29 December 2023 / Published: 5 January 2024
