Abstract

Date Presented 04/01/2022Increasing racial and ethnic diversity among practitioners supports the capacity of the profession to address disparities in education and health care. Academic programs must identify barriers to recruiting and retaining diverse students in order to build equitable and inclusive practices. Collectively, we can inspire and generate active solutions to increase diversity and advance the profession toward equity and inclusion, supporting the American Occupational Therapy Association’s Vision 2025.Primary Author and Speaker: Tyra M.
