Abstract

The article discusses the claim that a lower number of people are pursuing a legal education in America in 2015 as compared to earlier years, and it mentions the costs associated with attending law school, as well as the impacts of declining enrollments on U.S. law schools and the nation's legal community. Student loan debt and post-law school employment problems are examined, along with the perseverance and passion (grit) of those students who do enroll in American law schools.
