Abstract

Clean water problems always arise in Gunungkidul Regency, which is mostly karst areas. One area that is often affected by water shortages is Saptosari sub-district. This water shortage is mainly due to groundwater aquifers in Gunungkidul included in the karst aquifer system. The application of the dipole-dipole geoelectric method is used to obtain information on the presence of ground water in the village of Monggol. Dipole-dipole configuration with 40 meters in spacing and n = 1 to 8, able to map subsurface that is quite deep. The inversion results in two measuring paths showed a very high resistivity value (> 2500 Ohm-m), which was interpreted as a large cavity connected to each other at a depth of 60 meters.
