Abstract
Entrepreneurial universities seek to strengthen and consolidate the entrepreneurial spirit of students and graduates to consolidate new sustainable businesses. The objective of this research was to analyze entrepreneurial universities in Latin America, particularly the subject of entrepreneurship in the Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Valle Hermoso of the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas-México. The research methodology was descriptive, documentary, and was developed at the Valle Hermoso Multidisciplinary Academic Unit of the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas-Mexico. The results show that the educational programs provide guidance on the curriculum and the graduate profile, however, it is essential to train university students under a new critical thinking that consolidates the creation of their own companies. It is important that the actors involved in the support programs look for entrepreneurial, disruptive ideas, capable of offering jobs, and also promote guidance and financial education. It is concluded that entrepreneurial universities are closely related to entrepreneurship support programs, in such a way that they must have incubation and innovation centers that foster creative thinking in young people who have the initiative to become entrepreneurs.
