Abstract

Review of the ideas of reform and revolution in 20 century Chile, and its presence in political, social and cultural imaginaries and representations of the period. Contrary to the traditional view, the analysis shows - using a siquiatric metaphor- the recurrent bipolarity and complementary position of this ideas.
