Abstract
This research aims to apply the derivative concept in determining the effectiveness of Indraprasta PGRI University students in traveling to campus by motorbike. Data was obtained through questionnaires and observation results containing the distance from home to campus and travel time for each student. By applying the concept of the first derivative to the position function, instantaneous velocity is obtained which describes the rate of change of distance over time. The second derivative is then used to calculate acceleration, providing information about changes in speed during travel. The research results show that mobility is positively correlated, where students who live further away tend to have higher mobility. It is hoped that these findings can help students plan trips more effectively.
