Abstract

POLITICS AND WOMEN (WOMEN’S POLITICAL STRUGGLE IN IRAN AFTER THE ISLAMIC REVOLUTION OF 1979). The Constitution of Islamic Republic of Iran regulate women`s right in political and social domain.This is different from condition before revolution at 1979. Before revolution, Iran`s womens are not only means of reproduction, but their thought are captured by foreign cultur. Beside that, they also called by conventional community and have conventional thought. So, women`s right dominated by men in many aspect of politic and social domain. Generally, movement of women`s politic in Iran is progress than the others country on Middlle East. Although, they have many challenges about interpretation of text, domination of men and also policy of government. Actually, movement of women`s politic in Iran is grow and develop, that indicated by some women activist that popular around the world. Beside that, a thought about movement of women politic also grow up progressively. Yet, on some period of government, movement of women`s politic faced some unsatisfying with policy of government, especially on General Election of President 2010. So, they held of a big demonstration that cause some activist died. Nowadays, some women`s activist that participate on government like Masoemeh Ebtekar, Fatimeh Javadi and the others indicated a good relationship and increase trust of public about Human Right and gender equality.
