Abstract

The golden shower tree, Cassia fistula, is a botanical symbol of persistence, providing aesthetic appeal and sophisticated ecological dynamics. As the climate change specter looms, this paper delves into the delicate interplay between changing climatic circumstances and Cassia fistula phenology and phytochemistry. The tree's therapeutic effects are linked to anthraquinones, flavonoids, and saponins, which have been gathered and focused on their significant antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial capabilities. Cassia fistula has been traditionally utilized in various medical techniques to treat illnesses such as digestive issues and skin health management, demonstrating its adaptability and usefulness in herbal therapy. The review comprehensively unravels the climate-induced changes in Cassia fistula phenology on attribution, pharmacological advantages, and nanotechnology prospects.
