Abstract
CoVID 19, an emerging disease declared a pandemic by the WHO, which highlights the need to apply biosafety measures, combining knowledge, attitude and practice so that humanity can contain this spread, reducing its morbidity and mortality. In order to analyze the CAP profile on CoVID 19 based on its risk factors in a neighborhood of Guayaquil, Ecuador during the period February 2020-July 2020, a quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional study was conducted. Using for the collection of data, the CAP survey that combines survey with the funnel effect, an instrument applied through social networks and by telephone. The sample consisted of 303 persons (heads of families, health, government and educational personnel). The analysis of the results was carried out through a statistical analysis in Excel 7.0. The results show that 84.45% know that CoVID 19 belongs to the family coronavirus, but 67.33% do not know the name of the causative agent, 94.06% recognize fever as a symptom, the use of the mask (95.71%) and the hygiene of the hands (95.38%) as preventive measures. The attitude reflected that it is a dangerous virus so you have to take care of yourself. In practice, 62.05% report wearing masks, along with 17.49% who testify not to use them frequently and 70.29% of the hygiene of the hands execute it. Of the 185 respondents who reported having had CoVID 19 symptoms in the last 15 days, 74.05% assumed quarantine to prevent the spread of the virus.
