Abstract

A documentation was conducted of the changes in habitat occupancy by Bachman's sparrow (Aimophila aestivalis) in the Francis Marion National Forest before and after Hurricane Hugo struck on September 21, 1989. The changes in occupancy are described and their potential causes discussed.
