O ensino de matemática na educação infantil: uma proposta de trabalho com jogos The teaching of mathematics in young children´s education: working with games

Abstract

O objetivo desse artigo constitui-se em investigar princípios para a organização do ensino na Educação Infantil, em especial o de matemática. Para isso, sistematizamos uma proposta de trabalho com ênfase no processo de ensino e aprendizagem dos conceitos matemáticos, por meio de jogos, compreendendo o desenvolvimento do jogo no período pré-escolar de acordo com os pressupostos da Teoria Histórico-Cultural. Considerando esses pressupostos teórico-metodológicos, desenvolvemos as ações teórico-práticas na elaboração do jogo intitulado “Desafio dos ovos”, com o intuito de articular os princípios da organização do ensino com os da Teoria Histórico-Cultural e da Atividade Orientadora de Ensino. The principles implied in the organization of teaching in Infant Education, especially Mathematics, are investigated. For this, a working proposal underscoring the teaching and learning processes of Math concepts is systematized from the above idea, or rather, games may be developed at kindergarten’s level foregrounded on the Historical and Cultural Theory. Based on the theoretical-methodological presuppositions, some theoretical and practical activities are developed for the game called ‘The Challenge of the Eggs’, to fit the principles of the teaching organization with those of the Historical and Cultural Theory and the Teaching Guiding Activity.
