Abstract

In this modern era, technological developments are increasingly advanced and developing rapidly, especially supported by the existence of social media, which is increasingly progressing. Current technological developments have a big influence on human life in everyday life, where people will interact and establish social ties with the social structures that exist in the surrounding environment. The existence of social media makes it a forum or platform as a form of freedom to express and create works owned by the current generation, from children to adults. This freedom of creativity and expression makes it possible for everyone to share their ideas and works easily and practically without having to be limited by time and space. Apart from that, social media is also said to be a public space and is a form of construction of social reality in society. This is because social media allows everyone to interact and communicate with other people without limits, from various cities, islands, and even countries. So that's where the construction of social reality that occurs on social media, which refers to freedom of creativity and expression in a work, can influence the perspective of each individual and even society at large because later they will create and understand their own social world.
