Abstract

This paper introduce an ongoing research project aiming to research data mining as a methodology of knowledge discovery in urban feature analysis. A methodology is developed for formulation and analysis of an urban database by applying data mining methodologies in order to identify the patterns and relationships among multiple urban attributes. The urban database is built upon real and official data of a historical neighborhood of Istanbul.
