Abstract

This manuscript presents a detailed anatomical review of the Lisfranc joint complex, which includes the tarsometatarsal joints, the intertarsal joints and the proximal intermetatarsal joints. From the bony anatomy to the ligamentous structures reaching the base of the second metatarsal and the surgical anatomy relevant to fix the joint complex, this manuscript provides a comprehensive text for those treating Lisfranc injuries.
