Abstract

Planar parametric G1 splines are constructed from quadratic Bezier curve segments such that the turning points of the resulting spline occur at and only at given points in the plane. Such interpolating splines are suitable for the approximation of curved lines which have heen sampled at their turning points. © 1991, ACM. All rights reserved.
