Abstract

Effect of concentration at room temperature on the structural and dynamical properties of Mannitol inWaterhas been investigated at room temperature. Ultrasonic pulse echo technique at 5 MHz frequency has been employed for this purpose. Acoustic parameters such as ultrasonic velocity (?), Compressibility (ß), Free length (Lf), Acoustic Impedance (Z), Rao's constant (R) and Wada's constant (W) has been calculated and discussed in terms of structural dynamics, inter and intermolecular H-bonding & intermolecular forces between solute and solvent molecules.
