Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) is a hip pathology that has been known to orthopedic surgeons for nearly 90 years, but for which gold standards have not yet been established in terms of its mechanism, clinical symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment. Diagnosis is attempted with different examination methods and radiological parameters, and in clinical practice, it is mostly seen in the athlete patient group. Conservative and surgical methods are used in its treatment. There is not yet a consensus on the optimal surgical procedure.
