Abstract

This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (Intervention). The objectives are as follows: To determine if the omission of postoperative whole breast radiation therapy (WBRT) in selected postmenopausal women with early, favourable breast cancer, results in clinically acceptable, low local recurrence rates compared to women who receive postoperative WBRT.
