Abstract
The competition was suggested by GBCEspaña and developed by ASA (Sustainability and Architecture Association), according to the items of SB10Mad Conference. The aim was to involve Spain and other Universities abroad in the study of revitalizing existing areas. Contestants had to suggest solutions to reach benefits in a neighborhood selected by themselves, in subjects such as resource's economy, energy, water, social improvements and mitigating pollution. The success on variety and the quality of solutions suggest this matter as good university training and successful in developing ideas.
