Abstract
Internet is a potential medium in sharing information quickly and bring new changes in people's lives. The existence of the Internet has led to digital inclusion in various aspects, including entrepreneurship. This study was conducted to explore how digital inclusion patterns through various online applications and forms of business transformation that occurs among women entrepreneurs. The objectives of this study are to see the pattern of digital inclusion and transformation of entrepreneurship. The quantitative method was employed and data were collected through a survey with 402 online women entreprenuers aged 18 to 50 years old who runs an online business. Two methods of surveys conducted namely face-to-face (in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Shah Alam and Bangi) and online (e-mail and Facebook). The results showed that the majority of women entrepreneurs have benefited from the internet as a source of relevant information to get the latest products on the market. In addition, the majority of respondents also advertised their products on the Internet as a means of constant communication with customers. From the aspect of the transformation, the majority of respondents found the level of communication with their customers is more advanced. This illustrated that the positive changes happening in their business. Thus, the study found that digital inclusion is important for entrepreneurs in developing their business.
