PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BENCANA BANJIR SEBAGAI UPAYA PENGURANGAN RESIKO BENCANA

Abstract

Ambon City is one of the areas prone to flood disasters. Almost every year floods come. As has happened in recent times, extreme weather has resulted in several points in Ambon City being flooded. Floods can have a detrimental impact if not handled immediately. Therefore, it is necessary to do flood disaster mitigation efforts. One effort that can be done is through education, namely by developing flood disaster mitigation learning media to increase students' awareness and knowledge about the dangers of flooding and how to reduce the risk. This study aims to develop learning media for flood disaster mitigation in the form of videos as an effort to reduce disaster risk in Ambon City. Development of flood disaster learning videos using 4D models. The results of the validation of learning media experts with a mode score of 5 on each assessment indicator mean very good. Student response with a score of mode 5 which means very good. The average value of the students' pretest was 68.50, after using learning media the average post-test score of students became 81.08. This shows that the flood disaster mitigation learning video is successful in increasing students' understanding of flood disasters. A good understanding of flood mitigation can foster an attitude of awareness and response to disasters so as to reduce the risk of flood disasters.
