Abstract

Severe pain and urinary tract obstruction are hallmarks of renal calculi often requiring hospitalization and treatment. Renal damage can occur without proper intervention. This article discusses the role of nurses in caring for patients with renal calculi, current treatment approaches, and prevention strategies.
