Abstract
Appendiceal mucocele is an uncommon disorder, and a proper diagnosis is usually made during the surgical act. A low percentage of these cases can be associated with an adenocarcinoma, and in these cases, a more extensive resection should be necessary. In this report, 4 patients out from our professional practice, are presented. The management, related to the histological and the anatomical findings, is analyzed. Furthermore, the pertinent literature is reviewed.
