Abstract

The chorion ultrastructure of the eggs of some teleost fish from the South-East Atlantic was studied by means of a scanning electron microscope. Photographs of the surface of the chorion of eggs of 17 species are presented. The characteristics of these eggs and their chorion, plus comparisons of the results with those of other authors, are also given. © 1987 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
