Abstract
This research was motivated by the discovery that students' concentration was different at the beginning and end of learning. This can be seen by the students' restless movements, some shivering, fear, and playing. In thematic learning, learning concentration is very important so that students can understand certain topics with combined subjects. The research aims to describe the learning concentration of class V students at SDN 5 Nanga Nuak in thematic learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. The subjects in this research were 24 class V students and were divided into three groups, namely high, medium and low student learning outcomes. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The research instrument uses observation sheets, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques include data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. Data validity with technical triangulation. The research results showed that students with high learning outcomes concentrated well during thematic learning. Students can pay close attention to the teacher's explanation and focus on the blackboard when the teacher explains using the blackboard, can ask and answer the teacher's questions, and participate actively in discussions. Students with moderate learning outcomes concentrate quite well during thematic learning. Some students looked enthusiastic and focused on paying attention to the teacher's explanation, but were still distracted by playing or chatting during the lesson. Students with low learning outcomes have poor concentration abilities during thematic learning.
