Abstract
An analysis of practical works in Physics and Chemistry secondary school curricula is done. Results show that most of these experiments do not have any resemblance with scientific work. Consequently, pupils do not become acquainted with scientific methodology Another type of practical work -based on a science learning model as a conceptual and methodological change- is presented. Results obtained are also discussed.
