Abstract

The research proposes the solar panel is used for charging the lithium ion battery. The fly back converter increases the low dc voltage from the PV panel to high dc voltage according to the requirement of electric vehicle applications. The battery management system (BMS) with fuzzy logic controller (FLC) is proposed to protect the batteries in overcharging and over discharging conditions. The newly developed fuzzy rules are implementing in the fuzzy logic controller the BMS take action and disconnect the battery from overcharging and over discharging condition. The PV Panel, Boost converter, lithium ion batteries, inverter is modeled using MATLAB Simulations. The simulation model for BMS technique implemented with the overall efficiency 95.8%.
