Abstract

The assessment and management of the disabled child requires close teamwork from a number of professionals working together in health, along with colleagues from education and social services. This article describes the contribution made by each discipline in our local services. Although details of working vary between different places, the concept of a team utilizing the specific expertise of each member in partnership with parents remains the same. © 2003 Elsevier Science Ltd.
