Abstract

A new calss of mononuclear superoxocobalt complexs containing four equal imidazolyl-donors and one pyridyl-donor per cobalt(II) ion was prepared and their chemical and physical properties were compared with those of cobalt(II) Schiff-base type dioxygen complexes.
