Abstract

The authors reflect on the need for occupational therapists to respond to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) of Canada's calls to engage in a process of reconciliation. Particular focus is given to TRC's publication on the relationship between Indigenous peoples and the Canadian government. Topics discussed include the ongoing marginalization and oppression of Indigenous peoples, the opportunity for transformative practices and accountability.
